What sizes to expect

Inkida sweatshirts and hoodies are unisex, relaxed in cut and printed to order in the US. Most of the range runs S to 3XL, and a smaller Plus Size collection covers 3XL, 4XL and 5XL. That is the honest picture: the extended range is smaller than the main one, so it helps to know which pieces come in which sizes before you fall for a design.

• Main range: sweatshirts and hoodies in S to 3XL. Sweatshirts start at $44.99 and hoodies at $49.99.
• Plus Size collection: 12 designs in 3XL to 5XL, made up of 10 tees and 2 crewneck sweatshirts.
• Hoodies: the funny designs top out at 3XL. The Custom Design hoodie is the one exception, offered up to 5XL.

Read the size chart before you pick a design

The size guide lists garment measurements taken flat, and they can vary by about 1 inch. For sweatshirts and hoodies, a 2XL is 28 inches across and 31 inches long. A 3XL is 30 inches across and 32 inches long. Double the width to get the distance around the garment, so a 3XL sweatshirt measures around 60 inches at the chest.

Tees are cut a little narrower: a 3XL tee is 28 inches across and 33 inches long. The size guide describes the range as unisex and true to size, with a simple rule for a relaxed or oversized look: size up one.

How to measure yourself

1. Wrap a soft tape measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
2. Match that number to the chest ranges on the Plus Size page: 3XL is 54 to 56 inches, 4XL is 58 to 60 inches and 5XL is 62 to 64 inches.
3. If you like a looser drape, size up one.

You can also lay a sweatshirt you already love flat, measure straight across the chest one inch below the armpits, and compare that width with the chart.
